Investment Green: Identifying the Need

The need for investing green on this planet is clear.  If we look inward and examine our own hearts, the truth is that we’ve known for at least the last 20 to 30 years that investing green was the right thing to do.  Our morals convicted us, but our need for financial security caused hesitation.  All of that is over now.

Today, as mentioned elsewhere on this site, one need not be convicted about matters of social responsibility in order to invest green.  Today, investing green is simply a smart financial move.  According to Tobin Smith in his book entitled Billion Dollar Green, he makes the point time and again that even if you remove all of the socially responsible aspects of investing green out of the picture, there are still many strictly financial indicators that make “Investment Green” a prudent investment decision.  It is just no longer the case that our need for financial security and our drive for capitalism are in conflict with our responsibility to our children and our children’s children to preserve this planet for them.  Even if you’re driven by nothing but pure unadulterated greed, you just can’t ignore the fact that the “Investment Green” industry is poised for a 12-fold growth increase over the next decade alone!

This being the case, Invest Green proudly announces the Investment Green Connection.

Investment Green: Filling the Need

This service will connect legitimate Investment Green Projects with forward-thinking green investors.  These projects may already be up and running, or they may be startup projects.

Companies Green

Over the next few weeks, and then on an ongoing basis, Invest Green will be compiling a “Companies Green” list.  This list will include two different kinds of “Companies Green“.  The first type will be start up companies seeking seed funding, partners willing and able to provide capital, or other forms of startup capital for their business or business idea in the green sector.  The second list will be of companies which are already established and whose stock is already showing some financial stability and/or potential for growth for the more discerning (and perhaps more conservative) investor.

Investment Green

In addition to the Companies Green List, Invest Green will also be compiling an “Investment Green” list.  This will be a listing of investors who are either ready, willing and able invest green right now, or who are at least considering investing green and basically need to be sold on it.  These investors will be able to choose whether or not they actually want to be listed publically on this site, or to be contacted privately about Investment Green Opportunities.  This list will remain the confidential property of Invest Green, and will NEVER be sold or otherwise disclosed to anyone, anywhere, anytime for ANY reason.

Join the Investment Green Connection!

If you’d like Invest Green to consider you or your company for this list, or if you have questions or comments about the idea, please contact us today using the form on our Contact Us page.

More Projects Green means More Jobs Green

Projects Green: Creating Jobs Green

Although the short speech in this video happened last year, Senator Clinton’s comments amplify one of the key points of our site, that being that Investment Green is the way to go.  Like her or hate her, Clinton’s words in this speech are right on the money when it comes to fixing not only our environmental issues, but our financial ones as well by becoming involved in investing green.

Jobs Green: Clinton Speaks on Projects Green

In this video, Clinton (to her credit) drives home the point that projects green really are the wave of the future.  Not only are Projects Green all about secure financial investments, but they are also about “Jobs Green”.  In a country filled with economic uncertainty and six-figure monthly job losses, the truth is that green projects may be one major key factor in keeping our country out of a deep depression.  Millions of jobs are just waiting to be created in the Green Sector.  Investing Green will help create and maintain these projects green, allowing Jobs Green creation while investing in a sector that most experts agree is poised to grow 12-fold over the next decade!

February 27, 2007 – Senator Hillary Clinton called for a Strategic Energy Fund to jump-start research and investment into clean energy technologies and other Projects Green in order to promote job growth, energy independence and a cleaner environment. Senator Clinton announced that she is reintroducing legislation to help achieve these goals.  While some might debate that she is simply playing to the crowd, promoting whatever she thinks will advance her career, the truth is that these possibilities don’t make what she’s saying about the need for Investing Green any less true, nor does it mean that the need for Jobs Green is any less needed.  In other words, whatever you may or may not think about Hillary Clinton as a person, the message she gives in this video couldn’t be more important to all of us, regardless of your political affiliation.  We challenge you to put your political affiliation down for a minute, and listen to this message.  You’ll be glad you did, especially if you keep your kids and grandkids in mind will doing so!
